Kids win lottery?

When kids don’t know where they will be staying at night but still want to go to school “like everyone else”, what can we do to make that come true? A brother and sister from New York woke up to walk 40 minutes to see if they won the lottery. These kids have been on a lottery type drawing to see if they can attend school with people in “different circumstances” like them. Run by the Children’s Aid Society, the new charter school is designed for children in particularly difficult circumstances, and will provide services such as medical care, food, parental support and counseling. This school will open in late August. These kids want to go to school despite hardships in their lives and people in New York are making their dreams come true!
