With the end of the school year coming to an end, the
excitement for summer can cause students to shirk their educational duties and
miss class. Students may think “It is almost the end of the school year, I

No Backpack Day
Who knew that one kids project could turn into a much
bigger effort. Students in Charlotte, North Carolina are participating in “No
Backpack Day” with the foundation A Place of Hope. The idea of this project is
to give kids who don’t have school supplies what they need. This project is a
huge success! A backpack filled with supplies is given to kids with no
materials in order to give them what they need for a good education. See how
