Jack-O-Lantern Cut-out

Halloween is only a week away! Are you looking for a fun, easy project to do with your students? Then we have the perfect thing for you. Our Jack-O-Lantern cut-out is great for young students!

Take our image and print it out to give to your students. Students can then color their pumpkin and draw whatever face they want on it. It can be scary or silly, it doesn’t matter. Students may then cut out their pumpkins and will have a fun Halloween decoration. These are fun to let students take home, or even hang around your classroom.

This is a great last minute activity because it takes so little preparation. It’s a great activity for restless students who are excited for the approaching holiday.

Everyone here at TeachersSquare.com hope that you have a fun and safe Halloween. Remind your students to be safe during their Halloween activities as well, especially if your local community does trick or treating at night.

While doing this activity, maybe you can tell your students about where this Halloween tradition of pumpkin carving came from. Or you might ask if they’ve carved any pumpkins yet, or plan to. Make the time leading up to Halloween fun for everyone!
